New Equipment! 📸

So i finally made the long decision on what lens i will go for as i was feeling that my old lens that came standard with the camera wasn't really cutting it for me for the long shots that i wanted to take!

It took me a while to figure out what i wanted, this was because i'm a beginner at photography and have no clue what's a good lens ore a bad 😅 but also that fact that lens cost so much more than i thought 😭

I heard photography was gunna be an expensive hobby but i didn't realise how much exactly 😂

The new lens i went for was a Canon EF-S 55-250mm f/4-5.6 II Lens (middle lens) Im super happy with how this lens has turned out and the shots i really wanted to get at the start of this journey are the shots i'm being able to take now! 📸

I went up to watch the local football, north devon 1/4 final devon cup game - Shamwickshire Rovers AFC Vs Appledore FC. My brother runs the shammy team so i said i would help with some photos at the start of the season, you can see these in my portfolio already! But i never really got the best shot i wanted the only ones i could get with my normal lens was when the play was close to the barrier because of the short 55mm zoom.

Today was soooo much better and so much more how i envisioned the shots i wanted all because of this lens 📸

With such a longer zoom keeping said shot stable was always gunna be a little tricky to master i also invested in a monopole tripod which really helped sort this problem out. The reason i went for a monopole instead of a traditional tripod was because of my height. Im 7ft tall and the tripods i was looking at just weren't getting there till i ventured into curry's and tried out the mono pole which worked perfectly!

To be honest with the new lens and equipment my desire for taking shots has skyrocketed! im really excited for the rest of the year now and can't wait to be back behind the camera showing you my life through the lens! 📸
