Hi guys!
Welcome back it's been a short while since the last blog back in October. With increased work and other life stuff outside photography I've kinda put this on the back foot, I always tend to do this around this time as winter photography and me just don't really mix and with work shifts and darkness being around 4/5 I'm never finding time with the light to even capture anything I want too!
Let me give you a little update on what I have done these last two months (It's not a lot 😅)
I've been working again with Against All Odds doing another studio shoot but this time I was lead photographer which was super fun and kinda nerving as I haven't done something like this in my photography career! We managed to get some really nice shots and I also learned a lot especially in prop placement and scene making for the subject! Also recently got some of my work posted onto their instagram page which looks super cool! here's a photos from that shoot.📸
Also completed my second client shoot for a nail salon it went really well and better than I thought although I was super nervous after about 5 minutes I felt in my element and managed to capture the shots the client wanted! Really good experience and I'm excited to take on more clients in the new year. here's a couple shots from that!
Talking about clients I recently set up my business on google so I can be found more easily with my hours and my contact details! I've seen so much more traffic so far coming through google and I'm excited to see how well I can do once I get more time to put back into photography next year!!
Next Year plans
For next year I'm looking to have more of a social media presence meaning I want to be posting my work more and showcasing/reaching a bigger audience! Hopefully I can find a good work life balance where I have time to do this. After winter I always find my self posting and being active a lot more probably because we have more light for most of the day compared to the dark nights of winter haha
Improving the website will just be a constant thing I'm looking to do. I always want make the website the best it can be Hopefully by next year I can look back and say that I've changed from how it is now and see the progress not just in my website but also the quality and production of my photography and shots that I take!
Everything in life is just trial and error so if I don't try I will never be where I want to be. Hope you all had a great Christmas and a good year!
